Oversee the development, deployment or collection, documentation and evaluation of recordings of new or previously unexploited signal data. Write and publish technical signals and payload analysis reports. Diagnose and process bit and packet level payloads, both standard and non-standard.
Required Experience:
Military graduate of Basic (450) and Intermediate (451) Signals Analysis Courses. Alternatively, civilian graduate of Signals Analysis Development Program or comparable experience. Three (3) or more years of experience using bit and packet analysis tools, such as DVT, Xbit, Pktswing, Wireshark, or comparable. Working knowledge of standard multiplexing schemes (CEPTs, STM-1s, etc), packet framing formats (HDLC, GFP, etc), telecommunication payloads (Abis, Iub, 2G, 3G, 4G, etc), inverse multiplexing schemes (VCAT GFP), and data link layer through application layer protocols. OtherThree (3) or more years of experience working on a Linux platform. Familiarity with programming in a scripting language, such as Perl, csh, or comparable.
Required Education:
. Seven (7) years experience as a Signals Analyst in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional Signals Analysis experience on projects with similar scope may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
