Software Engineer 1

Annapolis Junction, MD
Seeking a Software Engineer with Java and Regex skills for development of data parsing and grooming products which make information available for Analytic missions. This Program has a robust process to ensure quality of products. The process includes Peer Review, Developer Acceptance Test, User Acceptance Test/SME Validation, and Integration Team System Level Test prior to deploying the products to production.

• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Software Engineer will be part of a domain team focused on a mission product line of data, and need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Java and Regex skills needed. Would prefer knowledge of using GitLab, Confluence for documentation, and Jira tickets.

Ability to Work Remotely: None. All work is performed at a government site.
Work Schedules: The TTO supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our team members.

Seven (7) years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Poly
