Systems Engineer 1

Annapolis Junction, MD
Required Skills
• Experience with standard development process, issue tracking, and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Gitlab)
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and systems engineering processes, requirements management and prioritization
• Experience with implementing Agile processes in Jira using Boards, Dashboards, and Plans
• Experience with managing technical engineering documentation: design documents, system and dataflow diagrams, requirements, test procedures, etc.
• Experience with security and compliance certification process and required artifacts

Seven (7) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Desired Skills
• Experience with container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience with systems monitoring and sustainment processes
• AWS cloud services experience
• Language analysis / linguist mission experience
• Experience with 508 accessibility compliance
