Systems Engineer L6 (Architecture)

Columbia, MD
Create functional architecture diagrams
Support the creation of a functional requirements draft
Validate functional alignment of requirements using the functional architecture
Identify gaps or overlap in scope leveraging the functional architecture
All work is required to be done using Cameo and VUIT tools

MANDATORY SKILLS: Proficient use of an MBSE modeling application
Experience developing artifacts that comply with the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Practical Systems Engineering experience in the following areas:
System design, System documentation development;
System requirements gathering, documentation and review;
System architecture;
CONOPS; and
System verification.
Ability to effectively work and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
Ability to explain technical work in a non-technical manner

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Recent use of Cameo or MagicDraw
Experience using visualization tools such as VUIT
Current or previous use working in the customer specific Meta-Model (AIMM)
