Software Engineer 3

Annapolis Junction, MD
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Supports, integrates, scales, documents, and secures all aspects of the virtual compute and container platforms that make up the Tactical Edge Platform
Works with developers to ensure compliance with optimal integration
Ensures DevOps policies are integrated throughout the stack
Conducts assessments to ensure the platforms meet required performance specifications
Containerizes key applications identified by mission lead

MANDATORY SKILLS: Experience developing/integrating capabilities while leveraging software containerization technologies (K8s, Rancher, Docker, etc.)
Experience developing and maintaining micro-services in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Experience working with varying and contrasting communications and data formats
Work performed in the contractor facility in Annapolis Junction.
Telework available
Both low and high side access.

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Agile Development Experience
Experience with programmatic data serving/retrieval APIs/mechanisms
Familiarity with DevOps concepts
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
