Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems. The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics. The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.
The candidate will:
Provide partner with another Senior System Engineer to provide over site and services to Data Services Team (Scrum Master)
Design new features and provide engineering direction and oversight during planning, development, testing and implementation
Coordinate across IPTs to ensure success development and coordination of features requiring cross team collaboration
Provide technical direction and code reviews, if necessary
MANDATORY SKILLS: The candidate must have experience with the following:
Experience integrating systems into corporate services Developing and deploying applications in Linux environments
Creating system engineering diagrams and documentation
Experience as Scrum Master
Ability to multitask and pivot to different tasks quickly
Experience with Atlassian tools (Must have experience with managing JIRA)
OPTIONAL SKILLS: Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE
Developing and deploying applications in Linux environments
Java (8 and above)
