Software Engineer/Program Analyst

This candidate will provide software development and maintenance for the WEBCANDID Project responsible for processing, tracking and management of user request signals processing Reporting. The candidate will be involved in all parts of the software development process including design, development, deployment, testing and user support.
The candidate will assist in:
- system enhancements, upgrades and dissemination and installation of new versions
- interfacing with the appropriate Government organizations for support, regarding system administration, hardware, and communications requirements
- development of documentation updates as required
- backup development support for other applications

MANDATORY SKILLS: Must satisfy the minimum requirements of the SWE2 labor category
Experience with Java/J2EE
Experience with Database application experience (Oracle 10g)
Experience with web technologies (HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience with web service technology (Restful, JSON)
Experience with Web Application Servers (Apache)
Experience with Spring

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Unit and integration test tools and technologies
Knowledge of VM environments
