Deadline for resume Submission:1/17/19 12:00 AM

The work is focused on development, configuration, deployment, and operations and maintenance of cloud-based environments, applications, and databases; in support of data exploitation and research requirements. Also, development of guides, procedures, and other documentation will be needed.
The Client uses a services-based architecture approach to define the components of the target architecture in order to provide a flexible environment for future change and gain the advantages of reusability. The implementation approach is based on mission threads that identify the components, legacy and new, required to support a particular capability and then plan the component changes and integration activities required to build the thread in the target architecture.
The Client uses multiple IT systems and networks that operate in multiple environments, primarily within the AWS cloud. Development and operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks follow Client-established methodologies that are tailored (according to the Client's Project Management Framework, a Client-specific derivative of Project Management Institute guidelines) to specific task requirements. Project methodologies include: Agile, ITIL, Kanban, and others as required. All developed software and scripts are managed within the Client's software management and version control systems.
The Client requires an Applications Developer to develop, test, and maintain complex information technology applications, systems, and/or services. The Applications Developer will analyze and define local and/or enterprise information system requirements, assess and improve existing applications, and integrate existing software into Client networks.
The Applications Developer will also perform system/application design, develop capability prototypes, and develop and implement operational information systems. The Applications Developer will test, debug, track, and resolve programming issues. The Applications Developer will also draft technical program documentation, such as end-user operational instructions or training guidelines.

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Other demonstrated experiences which are highly desired, though not required, include:
Experience with Express server.
Experience with MongoDB.
Experience with Java script, CSS, and HTML5.
Experience working with social media platforms (collection and exploitation).
