The Client organization is seeking a Systems Engineer to support various Mobility efforts within the organization. The candidate selected will manage a multitude of competing priorities, will be communicating at all levels of an organization, and will use their understanding of Mobile technology in the Sponsors environment.
Basic duties of this position include, but not limited to the following
Work closely with the Project teams to proactively monitor and manage Mobility infrastructure and applications to enhance customer experience and maintain high availability and performance.
Stay abreast of operational Mobility technologies and available upgrades, making recommendations to organization management regarding strategic possibilities including supporting vendor engagements on product changes and upgrades.
Serve as liaison with customer offices to ensure optimal support for the organization is achieved.
Serve as a POC for developing business use cases for Mobility technologies.
Keep current with Mobility technologies and best practices for their use.
Participate in Engineering Review Boards, strategy planning sessions, and Program Management Reviews.
MANDATORY Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

OPTIONAL SKILLS: 1. Knowledge and experience performing functional and integration testing of custom client and web applications and interfaces.
2. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Client's mission and organizations and Client's IT strategic directions.
3. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the Client's project management governance and software life-cycle management.
4. Demonstrated experience in using MS Project and Visio.
5. Demonstrated ability to independently learn shelf products and custom develop software applications.
