Deadline for resume Submission:10/24/18 11:59 PM

This newly operational team is seeking a world-class technical expert to accelerate the growth of our program as well as amplify the effectiveness of our existing team of subject-matter experts. It is vital that candidates applying for this role have a well-developed history in both large-scale, distributed software systems development and analytics/algorithm development for applications exploiting large telecommunications datasets. All existing team members on this effort have extensive, multi-faceted backgrounds which make them highly effective when supporting several technical areas and specialized tasks simultaneously. Our expectation is that new candidates will be able to operate from day-one in a similarly effective manner with minimal on-the-job training.
Efficiently perform RFI-based data processing operations and technical analysis in direct support of a small, embedded targeting team. Reliably respond to requests and meet all mission timelines with minimal error and rework.
Support the development, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of multiple, independent, large-scale data processing clusters, database architectures, and compute environments, and APIs running on both on-premises and cloud environments.
Develop and deploy domain-specific analytic techniques and algorithms using best-in-class mathematical and statistical techniques to automate manual cross-domain, spatiotemporal, and/or auto-correlation processes discovered by other team members.
Develop, execute, and continuously update a set of quality control analytics designed to evaluate variability of multiple, high-volume data streams and quantify the performance of other program-developed algorithms and data processing routines.
Assist in the setup, execution, and maintenance of new data acquisition programs. Travel as-needed, either CONUS or OCONUS (to include austere environment) in support of various technical software development, data collection, or requirements generation activities associated with future acquisition programs.
Regularly give technical presentations covering all technical aspects of the project (in particular ones own technical achievements) to audiences ranging from internal team meetings to stakeholder conferences in a large auditorium setting.

OPTIONAL SKILLS: 1. Experience providing technical support during domestic or overseas work or deployment, most notably within combat zones or otherwise austere environments.
2. Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with activity-based information and related concepts.
3. Experience working with geospatial information in a parallel or distributed processing environment as well as experience designing and developing algorithms focused on spatiotemporal co-occurrence correlation between numerous, large-scale, orthogonal datasets.
4. Experience with contemporary, open'source software deployment and execution systems tools which are emerging but generally unavailable on customer systems, such as Kubernetes, Docker, or Mesos.
5. Working knowledge of the customers commonly known collection systems, collection management processes, collection architectures, and/or policies and regulations governing common collection activities.
6. Strong program management and/or software development planning skills. Ability to effectively estimate the level of effort required for both simple and reasonably complex technical tasks with dependencies as well as software systems and materials costs.
7. General ability to read, compile and debug applications written in machine-language compliable languages such as C, C++, and Go using build tools and compilers available on customer systems.
8. Experience developing high performance, linear algebra based analytics either using single node, multiprocessing with BLAS/LAPACK or in a multi-node environment with Apache Mahout.
