Candidate would work with the other Network Engineers and Systems Administrators, and the responsibilities would include building high speed, multi-cast networks, and Mission Utility Clouds. Candidate should be able to travel a couple of times a year to help deploy systems.
Provides input to the design of the organization's network architecture. Configures and maintains organizations's network diagrams and accreditations. Supports mission architecture to include power distribution and support systems. Integrates hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements and other DoD/ regulations.
Requisite Skills:
Experience with high speed networks and multi-casting.
Experience with shared storage via SANs and NASs, including specific experience with HP and EMC hardware.
Provide guidance and direction to the developers and test team members in interfacing program components to the ITF network.
Assist IA personnel regarding network security and SSP maintenance. Ensure that the network configuration meets all IA requirements.
Perform installation of network components.
Support/maintain/administer program networks and servers.
Monitor network performance.

MANDATORY SKILLS: Must have over two (2) years experience with the following:
CISCO 2500, 3600 and 7500 series routers; and Catalyst 3500 and 6500 series switches or related network gear; CISCO PIX series firewalls, Cisco NetRanger IDS, and Cis-coWorks 2000 management suite.
Foundry Fast Iron Ethernet switches.
Resolving complex network problems, and operating network analyzers, WAN test equipment, and network simulators.
Implementing Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, terminal servers, and NTP servers.
Performing network security architecture, design, and integration on UNIX, NT, or other O/S configurations.
Additional experience is needed in;
Designing local area network for collection systems
Providing network security engineering
Providing wide area network engineering
