The Senior Software Engineer/Programmer Analyst will provide daily operations support and maintenance for four separate MKB systems. The selected individual should be comfortable performing software sustainment, editing and correcting data files and workflows; editing, scheduling and submitting jobs; and monitoring and maintaining inbound and outbound data flows. The individual will be expected to interact with customers and participate in technical meetings.

MANDATORY SKILLS: Must meet the minimum requirements for the OS Senior Software Engineer/Programmer analyst labor category.
Experience performing basic system administrator tasks in Solaris, UNIX and Linux (scripting, file transfers, account management, etc.).
Experience with databases Oracle and Sybase preferred.
Ability to design, develop and execute effective unit and load tests.
Ability to address IAVA patches
Bash Scripting
Expert in JAVA
Experience with a virtual machine environment (VMs)
Familiarity with a variety of input and output file formats, sources and destinations.

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Knowledge of agile development best practices.
Working knowledge of JCL and ISPF on Carillon mainframe
Expertise with PL1 and C
Understanding of SFTP
