This is a Software Engineering position that involves designing, developing, building and deploying software code to implement streaming analytics that involves the full software development lifecycle to include:
Design, develop, unit/integration testing, and deploy new software code that provides new functionality; as well as extending and/or modifying existing software code
Handle changing priorities and tasks on a daily basis
Use Object-oriented software methodologies
Write and implement code using real-time streaming analytic engines (e.g. Distillery, QuizKid, Spark)
Proficient in writing and building C++ code on a LINUX operating system
Manage code using Atlassian too Suite (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
Ensure that code integrates with external hardware/software systems
Demonstrate working knowledge of network protocols
Convert results to encoded data formats (e.g. XML, JSON, etc.)

MANDATORY SKILLS: 3-5 years of streaming analytics experience
2+ years of experience with Enterprise streaming analytics framework
3+ years of experience with ElasticSearch
3+ years of experience with command and control applications (e.g. Mesos, Kubernetes, Kayak)
Experience with system administrations and Distillery cluster
Understanding of scalable software architecture
Proven experience with rapid protoyping production
