The Client is looking for a Cyber Security SME to support the Sponsors Front Office. This individual will concentrate on overall technical and operational effectiveness of capabilities in coordination with a Client group. The Cyber Security SME will assist and maintain a formal Information Security Program that includes recommendations on continuous improvement of the processes and architectures supporting overall technical operational activities. This is to include, but not limited to analysis, incident handling, product evaluation, reporting, and development of security documentation.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities
-Provide security guidance based on established policies to Client on lifecycle support for data, voice, and video hardware and software products.
-Review assessment reports and assist projects in identifying security risks (technical and non-technical) and developing effective mitigation strategies (POAMs). Ensure project completes mitigation strategies as scheduled to ensure timely delivery to customer.
-Provide security review/approval for changes to accredited systems (installation of new software and/or hardware, opening new ports, etc) and determination of Security relevant changes.
-Provide assistance to Security for approving waivers to include voice and video devices that are used in the Sponsors environment. This is to include providing inspections at locations where users have an approved waiver.
-Manage, monitor, and track incident and problem tickets that pertain to Security.
-Monitor and evaluate global security processes and practices. When necessary, provide recommendations to Client for improvement of process to ensure compliance.
-Ensure all artifacts and administrative documentation is completed and maintained to ensure continuity and historical reference.
MANDATORY Certifications: ? Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)





OPTIONAL SKILLS: 1. Bachelors Degree in computer science, mathematics, computer engineering, or other closely related IT and Cyber Security discipline or equivalent work experience.
2. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with IT Network infrastructure.
3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with enterprise networks and systems.
4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with the Sponsors A&A process.
5. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with the Sponsors Project Management Framework.
6. Demonstrated on-the-job experience organizing, planning and prioritizing multiple tasks so that work is completed on schedule.
7. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and project information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Demonstrated ability to write technical documents addressing complex and sensitive issues.
9. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with writing, communications and briefing skills
