MANDATORY SKILLS: Relevant Qualifications:
Meets the requirement with seven (7) years experience as SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
Has the required one year of signals processing RF domain experience, and experience in digital signal processing using signals analysis tools.

The Level 1 Software Engineer (SWE) shall possess the following capabilities:
Candidate analyzed user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Candidate designed and coded new software or modified existing software to add new features
Candidate debugged existing software and corrected problems
Candidate integrated existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
Candidate developed simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data reposi-tories
Candidate provided recommendations for improving documentation and software develop-ment process standards
Candidate developed or implemented algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
Candidate assisted with developing and executing test procedures for software components
Candidate wrote or reviewed software and system documentation
Candidate developed software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, con-ferred with users or system engineer: analyzed systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigated problem areas
Candidate served as a team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project for program X for X years.
Candidate modified existing software to correct errors to adapt to new hardware, or to im-prove its performance for program X for X years.
Candidate designed, developed and modified software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design for program X for X years
Candidate designed or implemented complex database or data repository interfaces/queries for program X for X years
