Senior-level Java developer to support the design, development, integration, and testing of a large scale processing and ingest service including customer notifications (emails). The team member is expected to work with customers and other developers to document and define new system interfaces as the project moves away from a legacy system. The team member will support the development of a modern system capable of ingesting more data in need of upcoming customer requirements. Must be experienced with Enterprise Java, Spring Framework, Spring REST, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Apache Kafka, and heavy MongoDB experience. Candidates may be expected to switch between operations and maintenance of the legacy system as well as new development based on customer requirements. Candidate must be comfortable using Maven, GIT, working in an agile environment, and working with the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence, FishEye).

MANDATORY SKILLS: Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Experience with Apache , ReactJS, and JavaServer Faces are desired, but not required.
