Mid/Senior System Administrator (Pipeline)

This position will be staffed as a SME-Mid, and will be eligible for a 10% shift differential premium on hours worked between 6:00 pm 6:00 am. We are seeking individuals that have prior operations floor experience.
The SA will provide rotating shift work (12 hour shifts) of Days, Mids, and Straights.

MANDATORY SKILLS: Demonstrated proficiency administering Linux Operating Systems, VMware, ServiceNow, and Windows Operating Systems. Familiarity with Data Transfer Agent Policies. Strong understanding of account administration, Active Directory, file sharing, and other common administrative activities. Position deals with a variety of problems across multiple systems. Candidate should demonstrate troubleshooting skills leveraging available resources (SOPs, wiki pages, team members) to determine best course for problem resolution. Should have written and verbal communication skills to provide concise direction and updates on technical issues.
The candidate must be willing to work in a mission critical essential position supporting 24x7 continuous operations.
Mid Level
Eight (8) years demonstrated systems administration experience administering user accounts; performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, backups, configuration management, and general system maintenance; and providing input to the design of the organizations systems and mission architecture. A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for six (6) years experience.
Four (4) years combined experience in system administration, which shall have been obtained within the last six (6) years.
Six (6) years combined experience in each of the following:
a) system backup/restore procedures,
b) system security practices,
c) system tuning,
d) user administration,
e) software and hardware installation and maintenance,
f) file management and system troubleshooting,
g) operating systems (e.g., Windows, Unix/Solaris, LINUX) and storage filers (e.g., NetApp, Isolon),
h) system accreditation support,
i) system configurations, and
j) Vmware and virtualization.
Senior Level
Sixteen (16) years demonstrated systems administration experience administering user accounts; performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, backups, configuration management, and general system maintenance; and providing input to the design of the organizations systems and mission architecture. A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for six (6) years experience.
Eight (8) years combined experience in each of the following:
a. system backup/restore procedures,
b. system security practices,
c. system tuning,
d. user administration,
e. software and hardware installation and maintenance,
f. file management and system troubleshooting,
g. operating systems (e.g., Windows, Unix/Solaris, LINUX) and storage filers (e.g., NetApp, Isolon)
h. system accreditation support, and
i. system configurations.
Two (2) years demonstrated experience leading teams on small to mid-size software development activities.

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Candidates must have experience with Customer Service and have experience using common monitoring tools and Help Desk ticket systems experience is desired.
Experience using power shell scripting, working knowledge of Niagara Files and DDS. Experience with CentOS, Openstack, and the Zabbix monitoring tool.
